The Brief

Formerly Construction Scotland Innovation Centre, Frame was appointed in December 2020 to communicate the innovation centre's vision to accelerate sustainable transformation in the built environment.

Alongside regular communications activity, we were also briefed with supporting the delivery of BE@COP26, a two-week showcase designed to highlight best practice in sustainable construction through a combination of media relations and audio-visual support.

The Work

Through a multi-channel campaign across paid, earned, shared and owned media - including a range of print and online trade press and two media partnerships - we achieved a reach of around 27 million, resulting in more than 850 visitors to the event, and secured coverage in the BBC, Architects Journal, Building Magazine, Scotland on Sunday, Bloomberg and more.

Our campaign activity included media partnerships with leading UK and Scottish trade press titles; a 24/7 press office function before, during and after the event; engagement with stakeholders to collaborate on shared opportunities with sponsors and event partners; and the delivery of video production support for live-stream events.
