The brief


UEFA is on a mission to make football the most popular sport for women across Europe.

We were asked to assist UEFA in keeping teenage girls engaged in the game by creating a consistent design approach that appeals and resonates with them.

The work

Our newly developed design system and toolkit comprised of new fonts, templates, patterns, textures, emojis, and photography principles. This comprehensive set of guidelines ensures brand standout and consistency across all social channels.

Research has shown that community was a key driver for our audience. Therefore, we based our design system on the brands logo, which represents a huddle, a universal footballing symbol for togetherness and teamwork. The result is an ownable look and feel that speaks directly to our audiences’ interests.
