Communicating Diageo’s CSR commitment

The brief

Leading drinks producer Diageo has been a client of Frame’s for more than four years across a variety of its whisky brands, as well as its corporate reputation in Scotland.

The work

We work closely with Diageo’s team to handle all local CSR activity including promoting the company’s Learning for Life programme, which has improved employability and livelihoods of around 20,000 people looking to work in the on-trade sector. We work closely with Diageo’s delivery partners, Springboard Charity to develop earned and owned media content to promote local events, profile participants, and support recruitment of the scheme.

Communicating Diageo’s commitment to sustainability is also a key part of our work with the corporate team. We regularly produce content which helps showcase the work the company is doing. For example, last year, Diageo partnered with RSPB Scotland to help save a crucial area of peatland in one of Scotland’s national parks. We spent a day on site creating video, audio and photography and created a strong package of media and social media materials to tell the story – all resulting in strong earned coverage and engaging social media content.
