The Brief

Northern approached us with the challenge of improving its image and rebuilding trust. Their goal was to reposition the brand as a more reliable service for the people of the North and recover sales to pre-pandemic levels.

The Work

Rather than focusing on ticket types and products, we crafted a campaign centred around the freedom that Northern trains can provide. ‘Go do your thing’ highlighted the endless possibilities available and offered much-needed relief from the restrictions of the pandemic. By featuring diverse and authentic representations of northern life, we created emotional connections through targeted media, effectively repositioning Northern as an integral part of the community.
