Giving students permission to take up space
The Brief
The Scotsman Group were moving into the world of student accommodation, and Space St Andrews was their first foray. They tasked us with creating a distinctive positioning and attention-grabbing visual identity for the brand.
The Work
For many young people, their first student accommodation is the first space they’ve had that is truly theirs. A place where they can be fully themselves. This insight led us to the positioning ‘Take up space’: an invitation to students to use their space to express themselves, and make their own. A dynamic visual identity reflected this fluidity, with a bold, uncompromising colour palette, responsive typography, and an empowering, supportive tone of voice.
